The basic premise of the Reassurance Program of CONTACT Delaware is that people living alone, perhaps homebound with few regular contacts, need and will appreciate the "reassurance" of knowing that someone will call them regularly to see how they are and to chat for a few minutes, thereby providing a reassuring aspect to their lives.
